It's my first time eating at this restaurant and the food ambience was inviting. As it was my friend's birthday celebration we decided that this would be appropriate and also they had a winterlicious menu. For the starter, I ordered the spicy tuna sushi roll and the butternut soup. We ordered the surf & turf and my friends had the artic char for the mains. For dessert we had the famous butter cake. Overall, from start to finish the meal was delicious and our server Carl made the experience more memorable. I would like to go back and order their waygu steaks and their aged meats one day.

We had the Winterlicious menu at Black + Blue and it was great. The beef carpaccio was fresh and really well balanced, and the striploin was cooked perfectly—juicy, flavourful, and exactly what you’d expect from a top steakhouse. Dessert was a nice finish without being too heavy. Overall, it felt like great value for the quality of food, and the service and atmosphere were spot on. Would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at Black+Blue. The staff were professional, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. A highlight was the tour of their meat fridge, where we saw an incredible variety of meats (the oldest aged 37 years!) and learned about different steak cuts. Such a unique and memorable experience — highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary dinner, it was lovely. We came for a nice lunch and were able to order from the happy hour menu, which I highly recommend. Deyan was a wonderful server, very attentive and kind. He was also very accommodating with my boyfriend’s food sensitivity. They gave us a yummy dessert for our anniversary, on the house which we really appreciated! We loved the sour surge drinks and pink pomelo. The food was top tier. Thank you Black+Blue for a wonderful anniversary.

We had such an amazing night here. The Japanese Wagyu steak was unreal — honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. We shared a bunch of appetizers and everything was delicious. You really can’t go wrong with the menu. Nathalie was our server and she was fantastic — super friendly, welcoming, and really knew her stuff. She made great recommendations and just made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. We also had the Caesar salad, which was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was just great. Awesome vibe, great energy, and a place you actually want to hang out and enjoy your meal. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend.

Here's a place with good food, excellent service and a great vibe. Last night, it was the first time we tried their special advance-purchase Wagyu dinner set for two. We chose their wine pairing for the four-course meal and were delighted by the high-quality half-dozen plump, fresh oysters, perfectly chilled on ice as the starter. Love the two Wagyu appetizers that lead to our tender 20 oz Australian Wagyu ribeye with fixings, accompanied by a seafood-laden gratin of layered potatoes. The slightly sour lemon meringue tart was perfect to round up the meal. ** Great service throughout - and our special thanks to LIZ for her great work **

The service was really great here. Every one who served us was very helpful. I and two friends came here for winterlicious. The beef carpaccio was bigger than I thought and had a good combination of flavours. The steak was perfectly seasoned. My friend was not the biggest fan of the mash potatoes but I liked it . It had more of a mustardy flavour. The butter cake was soft and buttery. The food came out at a good pace. The waitress was very kind and accommodating. My friend had to leave early so the waitress was nice enough to make sure that we got our desserts with our mains.

Had dinner at Black + Blue with friends to celebrate several achievements and milestones, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness. The food was outstanding, as always. We started with the beef carpaccio, butternut squash soup, and the salmon roll. Each dish was beautifully prepared with well-balanced, delicious flavours that everyone enjoyed. For our main courses, we had the surf & turf, while one of our friends ordered the Arctic char “chowder,” and everything was cooked to perfection. We ended the evening with dessert, which was the perfect way to close out the meal. I especially appreciated the beverage pairings with my courses - the recommendations complemented the food flawlessly. The attention to detail in both flavour and execution truly stood out. Hats off to the chef! A special thank you to our server, Marvin, who went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. His impeccable service and attentiveness made the night even more enjoyable. Thank you Marvin - we had such a great time!

I went to Black + Blue with my girlfriends to try their 3-course Winterlicious menu and we were honestly so impressed! From the appetizers all the way to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were well balanced, the presentation was beautiful, and the portion sizes were very generous. The drinks were also really good. I had the Fool’s Gold and it did not disappoint. Definitely recommend! A special shoutout to our server, Sarah. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

Had a great meal and amazing time today, amazing service and nice atmosphere with family. The food looked great and tasted just as good. Our server, Kal made the experience great from the moment we sat down to the moment we left. He was welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Our drinks were refilled punctually, our food arrived exactly as ordered, and he really made sure to check in making sure the food was to our liking. What really stood out was his positive attitude and professionalism. Also taking amazing pictures of me and my family. Thank you Kal and to the rest of staff who contributed to this lovely evening.
